Family-Favorite Meatball Subs

- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1 egg
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 jar marinara sauce
- 4 hoagie rolls
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, egg, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Mix well and form into meatballs.
- Place meatballs in a baking dish and cover with marinara sauce. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until meatballs are cooked through.
- While the meatballs are baking, split the hoagie rolls and toast them in the oven until lightly browned.
- Remove the meatballs from the oven and place them in the toasted hoagie rolls.
- Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the meatballs and return to the oven until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Serve hot, garnished with additional Parmesan cheese and parsley if desired.
