Instructions

  3. Whisk in the mascarpone cheese until smooth.
  4. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture.
  5. Dip each ladyfinger into the coffee mixture briefly and arrange a layer of them at the bottom of a serving dish.
  6. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.
  7. Repeat with another layer of dipped ladyfingers and the remaining mascarpone mixture.
  8. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight, to let the flavors meld.
  9. Before serving, dust the top with cocoa powder using a fine sieve.
