Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, and salt.
  2. Dissolve the yeast in warm milk and let it sit for 5 minutes until it becomes frothy.
  3. Add the yeast mixture, melted butter, and egg to the dry ingredients. Mix until a dough forms.
  4. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until it’s smooth and elastic.
  5. Cover the dough and let it rest for 10 minutes.
  6. Roll out the dough into a rectangle.
  7. Spread the softened butter over the dough, then sprinkle with brown sugar, cinnamon, nuts, and raisins.
  8. Roll up the dough tightly and cut into 12 equal pieces.
  9. Place the rolls in a greased baking dish and let them rise for 30 minutes.
  10. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  11. Bake the cinnamon rolls for 25-30 minutes or until they are golden brown.
  12. While the rolls are baking, prepare the cream cheese frosting.
  13. Once the rolls are done, let them cool for a few minutes, then drizzle with the frosting.
  14. Serve warm and enjoy!
