Ingredients

  • 1 block of firm tofu, cubed

Instructions

  1. Begin by pressing the tofu to remove excess moisture. Cut it into cubes and set aside.
  2. Heat the vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the tofu cubes and cook until they are golden and crispy on all sides. Remove the tofu from the pan and set it aside.
  4. In the same pan, add the minced garlic and ginger. Sauté for a minute until fragrant.
  5. Add the sliced bell peppers and broccoli florets. Stir-fry for a few minutes until they start to soften.
  6. In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, Szechuan sauce, and cornstarch. Pour this mixture over the vegetables in the pan.
  7. Return the crispy tofu to the pan and toss everything together. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the tofu and vegetables.
  8. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
