Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC) and grease a muffin tin or line it with paper liners.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and ginger.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the pumpkin puree, granulated sugar, brown sugar, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined. Fold in the walnuts and chocolate chips if desired.
  5. Spoon the batter into the muffin tin, filling each cup about 2/3 full.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Allow the pumpkin spice muffins to cool in the tin for a few minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
